Formula Information

Liquifying Facial Cleanser

Formulator Notes:

This facial cleanser will liquify upon application.   It proves ideal for removing all forms of make-up.  It will leave the skin feeling fresh, clean, and non-oily.

A Petrolatum 65.00
A Isopropyl Myristate 7.00
A Stearyl Alcohol 1.50
A Laureth-23 3.50
B
 Cyclomethicone and Dimethiconol
 Inquire for appropriate blend 9.00
C Deionized Water 13.00
C Preservative qs


MIX PROCEDURE:
Combine Part A ingredients.  Heat to 170º F.  Mix well.  Slowly add Phase B ingredients
and mix until homogeneous.  Add Part C ingredients.  Mix vigorously.  Mix until uniform.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES:
This formulation will be smooth, glossy, and of high viscosity.  It is a creamy cleanser suitable
for daily use.

Variations:
Other silicones may be added to provide a more robust feel.  A pearlescing agent, such as
ICM S40K may be included to enhance the richness of appearance.
