Clear Hair Conditioner

Formulator Notes:

This novel conditioner is crystal-clear!  It provides excellent wet and dry combing, while increasing shine and manageability.

A Deionized Water 88.50
A Hydroxyethylcellulose 1.00
A Propylene Glycol PG-400 2.00
A Cetrimonium Bromide ICM CAB 4.80
A Polyquaternium-7 1.00
B Dimethicone Copolyol ICM 14C 1.80
C Polysorbate-20 ICM T-20 0.50
D Citric Acid 0.40
D Preservative qs
D Dye qs


MIX PROCEDURE:
Heat water to 170º F.  Add Part A ingredients in order.  Mix well.  Slowly add Phase B ingredients
and mix until homogeneous.  Add Part C ingredient and mix well.  Add Part D ingredients. 
Mix until uniform.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES:
The formulation will be crystal clear with superb conditioning properties.

Variations:
Concentration of the conditioning agents may be varied to offer light-to-robust conditioning.
